BRITTANI BOOKER PLEASANT
FOUNDER/CEO
Brittani Booker Pleasant is a transactional and litigation attorney with a proven record of local, regional and national leadership. Pleasant served as the president of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) for two consecutive terms. In this time, she headed the largest membership of this organization since its resurrection a few years prior.

Before acquiring leadership positions in higher education, Pleasant attended St. Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas. Pleasant has been the recipient of the NAACP Torch-Bearer Award and Scholarship, an award given for the showing of academic excellence and proven leadership capabilities. As a student, she began mentoring other young men and women academically and socially. As an attorney, she serves as in the Circles Mentoring group that allows her to mentor future attorneys currently attending law school and continues to serve as mentor to a number of young women in the San Antonio community. Recently, Pleasant has been honored as the 2017 Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc.'s Businesswoman of the Year, recognized for her tenacity and drive as an entrepreneur. Attorney Pleasant has also been acknowledged as the Scene in SA's Best Lawyer of 2018, 2021, 2022, and 2023, nominated and awarded the Scene in SA's Rising Star of 2022 and 2023, and recognized and awarded as the National Black Lawyer's Top 40 Under 40 for 2021, 2022, and 2023. Recently, Pleasant was also recognized as Best Lawyers Ones to Watch, and by The American Registry as a Top Rising Young Attorney In Texas for 2023.

NADINE DUNBAR-GILLS, Esq.
Senior Associate
Nadine Dunbar- Gills brings seventeen years of legal experience to B. Pleasant Law, PLLC. She holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Southern University Law Center and is dually licensed by the Supreme Court to practice law in both Texas and Louisiana. She is licensed to practice law in all state and local jurisdictions and has held licensure in the Middle District Federal Court of Louisiana and the Western District Federal Court of Louisiana. She has appeared pro hac vice in the Western District Federal Court of Texas. Nadine is a licensed Louisiana Notary Public and Real Estate agent, as well as an active real estate investor. She has worked as a licensed Title Producer and Adjunct Professor of Paralegal Studies.

Prior to joining B. Pleasant Law, PLLC, Nadine worked in Louisiana as a sole practitioner operating a civil law practice for fifteen years. Upon relocating to Texas, Nadine worked as a Senior Commercial Litigation Attorney for the largest personal injury law firm in the state of Texas.

As a wife and mother of three, Nadine remains active in the community. In her personal time, Nadine enjoys curating events and hosting luxury travel.
Patsy Jones is a certified Paralegal, she graduated from her class with honors as well as a distinguished graduate for outstanding excellence in her department of study. Jones has always aspired to be an attorney, but later realized her calling as a paralegal once she began studying in her field. She is currently pursuing her NALA certification.

Ebony Hinojosa has a Bachelors of Science in Management. She began her career as a manager of multiple childcare centers for nearly 5 years where she oversaw more than 22 members of staff, teachers, and their classrooms. She brings a wealth of knowledge in administrative organization and support to B. Pleasant Law. Ultimately, she aspires to utilize her skills in training and office management to assist in the growth of the company.
